Please take special note of the rules that apply to Equine Influenza vaccination. These rules are applied, very strictly, at Area and Championship competitions and it is a good idea to check, well in advance of competing, that your horse’s vaccination certificate is up to date and that all the individual dates on the certificate comply with the current vaccination rulings

At all our events, whether these are competitions, training clinics, or informal rides, riders must wear hats that comply with current British Riding Club Rules and they must dress safely, tidily and appropriately

bullet

If you are uncertain about any rules, or have any queries relating to tack and turnout, please contact a member of the Committee, or the competition organiser, who will do their best to help

bullet

We run our events and competitions at various locations in the area and we are only able to do so by kind permission of the owners of the premises and the land. We are very grateful to all those who provide facilities for us and it is important that we respect owners’ wishes and their property and that riders co-operate fully with Club Officials:

*Please take all your own and your horse’s litter home

*Please pick up all your horse’s droppings

*Please do not leave your horse unattended whilst tied to the side of your  lorry or trailer.  Damage can be caused to the going and it is unsafe from a Health and Safety point of view

*Please only ride where you are permitted to do so

*Please volunteer to help set up, or clear away, at competitions

We look forward to seeing you at Rutland Riding Club’s events
